I crave breakfast foods - pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, eggs, etc. I also really like Pepsi from a fountain. No Coke, no cans or bottles - it has to be from a fountain. Luckily, these have not hit at odd times YET!
This morning I had french toast for breakfast followed by half a bag of Milano cookies, which I had to eat while facing the stove so my kids wouldn't see Mommy eating cookies for breakfast! You can't enjoy them quite the same under that kind of pressure but I couldn't wait till nap time.
When I was PG I craved potatoes... however made I needed them. I would use the cheese grater to make hash browns and while one batch cooked I was getting another ready by the platefuls. Same with baked potatoes and McDonalds fries.
I craved hot wings during the last 4 months of my first PG. You have to understand, I despise ANYTHING the least, remote bit spicy. Even mild in most places is too spicy for me. But I ate hot wings almost every day for lunch for 4 months. I still eat them on occasion, too. Go figure.

So just out of curiousity - does your first like spicy foods now? A friend of mine could not eat chicken during her pregnancy and still to this day her son can't stand chicken. Just curious to see if that's typical.
Nope, he cannot stand anything remotely spicy, not even basic black pepper (of course, I don't like that either). But come to think of it, spaghetti made me sick with him, and he refuses to eat spaghetti sauce. And since I lived on crackers for the first 5 months, maybe that is why he prefers salty foods to sweet?? I never really thought about it like this before And with my second, there was no one particular thing that made me sick or that I craved, so maybe that is why she eats everything
I've always wondered about the connections to cravings during pregnancy and what the children like to eat. I'm sure there are reports out their documenting research on this - would be fun to see.
