Help me find Fall/Winter Black Shoes/Boots

Acckkkk, I have such trouble finding basic black shoes/boots!! I have no trouble with summer, I have too many sandals/flip flops to mention, but when it comes to cold weather, I'm such a dork!! I'm a jean gal, and I'm a teacher, so something simple, no high heels, is that too much to ask
