I'm considering offering babysitting services for people for holiday parties, tourists coming to town at local hotels, etc. I can do childcare with my kids which is a plus....

Watch your newspaper! I worked in JoAnne Fabric's warehouse for about 8 weeks one Christmas season. It was so big, it took 12 minutes to walk from the timeclock to my car in the parking lot! Yes, I lost inches in those 8 weeks!!!

It was also very part time, 9am-2pm, perfect for getting kids on and off the bus!!!

I got AN EMAIL yesterday from Gymboree saying that they are hiring. Whack!! An email? Isn't that wild?? They must be really hiring if they are going that route!!

I finally remembered...The store that I went by that was hiring is Family Christian Stores.

This is exactly what I was coming to post!! If I wasn't going to have a newborn in a week I think I'd get me a job. I'd love to have the extra $$ to buy Christmas gifts or just spend it on whatever I want! (esp Gymboree clothes!)

Wow...the Gymboree email is funny!

I checked the census website again and they said they were finished hiring in my area -- hmm...

So I've totally slacked on looking for a seasonal job. I am on vacation this week and conveniently, my supervisor called just to "check in and see how my vacation is going...". All the more reason why I want to leave -- permanently. Like, who actually calls to check up on you while on vacation?!

the census is starting up again in full force til spring. it's been on going for about a year and a half now- but keep checking the website- they might open it up again. Ive done 2 campaigns already adn will probably be working again in January before the big push in March/April/May
