Ok, not sure if I remember how to do this, but I'm gonna try....I've got to get this down pat one of these days! :rolleyes:

Here are a few pics from our Christmas Vacation in Texas! Fingers crossed (I hope this works!)

Nice pics. In your photohost should be a place to edit and resize down if you wish.

Thanks Admin Shilton! Ok, I tried re-sizing and it didn't work....I use photobucket but I'm very new to it all! If someone can help me figure out how to re-size, I'd truly appreciate the help!

Or I will have DH help me figure it out tomorrow when he gets home from work.

I am so terrible at the picture re-sizing stuff!

You all have nice, big, we-are-so-happy-to-be-in-Texas smiles on your faces! Did you get to eat at any of your favorite restaurants?

Photo resizing in photobucket:
1. just above the photo you want to resize, there are some blue words.
2. click 'edit'
3. above the picture on the new screen, you will see 'resize'.
4. click the arrow next to resize and your choices will come up. I usually choose the 'website/email' size. The 'message board' size comes out too big. 'thumbnail' is smaller, 'avatar' is the smallest.

Interesting thing. Now I've changed one of my pictures down to 'thumbnail' to try to get specific directions for you and I can't change it back. It only lets you go smaller, not bigger. Hmmmm.

Anyway, when you upload your pictures into photobucket, just above the box where you click 'browse' to choose the upload file, there are the words 'max image size' and next to that, in blue, it says 'options'. If you click 'options', it lets you choose the size you want from the beginning.

Alright, Fostermom....LOL, I am totally confused!!!!

Last night I played with the picture sizes and any time I re-sized, they were still showing the original size I posted them as!

I just saw a post here and came to look and now my 2 pictures I did not mess with are the original size, but the first one I posted is small now, LOL! ha ha ha, whats going on???

I'm confoosed! :confused:

I will get it figured out though! And thanks for everyones comments and help!

Your computer was probably holding the original size in the cache. After resizing images, hitting Ctrl & F5 at the same time will clear it so you can see the changes you made. Hope this helps.

OMG, they flipped out - DD10 was seriously crying and hyperventilating!!!! Once I figure out how to post normal size pics, I will post a couple from their reaction...it was priceless! We get to go in 6 days!!!
