Megan has been in rare form this past week!

On our way somewhere I was pulling out some CDs to choose one to put in and the stack came loose and spilled all over the passenger seat. Well the first thing that came out of my mouth was "crap". LOL - you guessed it - the most adorable "crap" came out of the backseat. It took all my effort to not burst out laughing it was so darn cute.

A couple days later we were having some burritos and french fries (one of our favs when daddy is gone) and I reached to get some more fries and she pipes up and says to me "hey not too many, save me some" LOL - that is what I'm saying to her all the time as she mooches off my food.

This stage has got to be the most fun!!!

I miss those days of innocent phrases from our kids. Now they just talk back:)

Ah those were the days. But be careful, sooner or later she will repeat something embarrasing then the fun will be over.

I am waiting for Bethany to hit this stage. Every time I say something that I wouldn't want her repeating, I cringe and remind myself that she is a little tape recorder... I am waiting for something to be repeated! LOL :D

I remember when my son was about 2 he was always saying "Dammit". It was cute coming out of a toddler's mouth. I can't blame anyone but myself.

Just a few weeks ago, my dog was inside DH's car, and scratching at the windows (we were at the park and she gets sooooo excited when we pull up). Well DH, DS and me were already outside the car. DH yells inside to the mutt 'Bailey if you scratch my windows I'm gonna be your a**.'

So we are walking to the park, and DS starts to say 'If Bailey scratches your glass you are gonna' ...then he looks up at me, looks up at daddy and says smiles really big 'beat her a**'. I just couldn't quit laughing. DH just looked away and grinned. DS knew it was wrong, but you can't do anything, can you? (he's 3).

Well hubby had an interesting conversation with my 9yo and 6yo. They spelled a couple of bad words to my hubby and they knew what they were and how they were to be used. I am not an idiot, I know that little kids use that language - I have heard it myself AT the school. We do not use curse words in the house or around them. I had to crack up though as my hubby was telling me this - he was shocked at their "knowledge".
