OK, if you read my need help with beagle on the pets page you understand.... my dog got into the flour today while i am gone and there is flour all in the carpet. What do I do?? Any ideas? I vaccuumed up the excess but there is quite a bit suck in the carpet i guess due to licking. Please help if you have an idea. I can't afford cleaning service right now. Thanks...

Hmmm. I'd say just keep vacuuming over and over. What kind of vac are you using? You need a really strong one, I imagine.
And then maybe rent a rug doctor?

I used my regular main vacuum a eureka i think. It got most of it, but I don't know what he did just licking it I guess, but it is all hardened on the carpet. I was thinking of putting a bunch of water on there but am nervous as what that would do.

Don't use water, you'll make glue. (I tried the water). I got a powder all over the floor, I used a bristle scrub brush and sat on the floor and used the brush and vacuumed. It took a long time, but finally the carpet looked back to it's hunter green. Even where the dog licked the brush should help break up the mess. Good luck, it took a while.

On the brightside, if your pet snake gets loose, you will now be able to locate him by following his marks through the flour!
