I'm having a terrible time with my living room furniture! Our new house is all ceramic tile - which I love! The living room has an area rug, but that's it. My furniture won't stay in one place!!! I've tried putting the front two legs of the furniture on the area rug - doesn't work. I've bought the so called non-skids for under the legs - doesn't work. Any other tips?

well i'd love to know this too!

we have um had some difficulties in our master bedroom seeing its tile floors...and even though our bed is MASSIVE cherry king sized..( i could never move that thing without three more people)..it tends to slide at times when um can i say bounced on?....well those um 'slight' movements ending up breaking some um support beams about a month back

so yeah...i'll be checking to see what others say...

I don't know! Our front and back entry are both tiled and the doormats won't stay put. You step on them and have a good chance of going flying. I bought the non-slip rubber sheets for under the mats and it helps a lil but still doesn't *work*.

For under your furniture, they make these little cushion things you can put on the bottoms of the legs. They come in various sizes, colors, etc. I got mine at Home Depot. We don't have ceramic tile, but have the same issues on our hardwood floors. The ones we got for the coffee/end tables look like little brown round sponges. We could even cut them to fit the bottoms of the legs, so they don't show at all.

For the couch, the ones we got look like dark brown coasters. I wish I could think of what they were called, but it's been like 3 years since I bought them!
