Haven't seen you around lately... Maybe I've just missed your posts, but your due date is getting pretty close, so I'm sure you're busy preparing. How is everything going? Drop in with an update when you get a chance!

I've "seen" her on FB, but not here recently. I miss her too - love hearing from all you young'ins!

I'm still "here" :)

We have been so busy trying to get everything ready at home and I have a to-do list a mile long to wrap up at work before I start my leave. One of my coworkers went in for what he thought was going to be a minor procedure on his heart to remove a blockage (his words) and it turned into a major open heart surgery so I have had to pick up and wrap up a lot of projects he was working on as well as finish up the stuff I need to do. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, but I'm just grumpy because he made no arrangements with anyone at work for the possible worst case scenario because he was only planning on being out of the office for two weeks and it has just been a lot of added work that could have been better planned for and distributed. He's doing better though so there is some good news!

We had our 37 week appointment today and I went from being half a centimeter dilated last week at 36 weeks to ZERO centimeters today at 37! I know half a centimeter is really nothing, but I'm just over being pregnant and my OB swears I won't go early. This pregnancy really has been easy and I'm thankful that the baby is healthy, but my belly is just so heavy and I feel so huge I'm just ready for it to be over! He's measuring big and I just feel like there is no way I can get any bigger, but its happening everyday! I know I won't be pregnant forever!

My coworkers threw me a baby shower which was super nice and unexpected. Maternity leave paperwork is SO hard to fill out! Actually I don't think it's that hard, I'm just not getting lots of help from my HR folks. I have also been talking to the folks in my office about me telecommuting a few days per week once I come back from maternity leave and for MONTHS everyone has been saying it would be fine, but now (as of like 2 days ago!) "they aren't sure if they can accommodate my schedule". I'm pretty sure that will get worked out, I just don't understand why it has to be worked out NOW and not months ago when I first brought it up. Ugh.

Sorry, I know nobody asked!

Any who, baby is good, I'm good, DH is good and is SO ready and excited for the baby to come! I think he's more prepared than I am! I'm just praying for an easy and uneventful delivery ;) I will post some pics of the nursery when we get it all finished. And I know I need to post another belly pic! It doesn't look anything like it did in the early 20something weeks!

It so hard towards the end trying to tie up all the "lose" ends. It will be here before you know it, and you will be able to enjoy your time off!

We would love to see a new belly pic and nursery pic when you get time!
