I found a package of this on managers special at one of my stores - what the heck can I do with it? It's just a 1 lb package. I know I could do pork fried rice or a pork stew with it - but I wanted to see if any of you had any other ideas. I want to participate in the recipe challenge girlysoxfan posted so maybe I can try something that one of you suggest.
Thanks!

You could make UtahDad's Gringo Chili with it! I don't think I have ever seen pork stew meat, either.

I've made that and it's yummy! I was wanting to try something new with it - I've never seen pork stew meat - but it was CHEAP! If I can find a few recipes to use with it, I'll buy it more often! :D

I thought about that too, but we are going to hold off on making tamales for now. It's a lot of work and since this is just 1 lb of meat, that wouldn't really go that far.

What about BBQ? We usually start w/ a roast, but I'm guessing stew meat would work the same. Never seen it, either. I'll have to look and see if my store carries it.

Easy BBQ Sandwiches
1/4 c flour, salt, pepper in zip lock ... dump meat in and shake, let set 30 minutes
Brown meat in skillet.
Deglaze pan with beef broth, then add meat, deglazed bits, 1 cup broth, 1 T liquid smoke in a crock pot ... cook on high for 3-4 hours, cook on low 5-6 hours
Meat will fall apart, put in bowl and stir in favorite bbq sauce.
Your house will smell ... WONDERFUL (bake this during open house when selling house, my mom did and house sold next day).
