Now I feel the excitement

The stress is behind me and now I can just relax and enjoy!

Yesterday was my first appointment with the midwives. I have been working out our budget and praying that it would all come together (for months now) so I could transfer out of the OB office to the birth center. Yesterday it all happened! DH's new job is doing amazing and our budget is in check. So all I have to do is just enjoy (and make sure I pay my balance in full by the end of April)

They are an amazing team, ds4 calls them the baby ladies. I have never felt so relaxed and at peace about anything like this in a long time.

But as I left I just cried, I was just that happy! I was realizing that even though this IS our last baby, I was going to get to have a GIRL and I was going to be able to birth how I wanted. With God, my husband, and myself we'll bring our miracle into the world!! (with some help from the midwives too ;) ).

I've been getting pretty excited since our shower this past weekend but freaking out just a little about how much babies cost. LOL. And feeling in awe when I look down and see a little foot kicking the middle of my stomach. And lately, sometimes I just feel like crying randomly from the joy and excitement of it all (and the hormones). I'm glad you're feeling it too.

You'll have to let us know how a Birth Center delivery differs from a Hospital one, I only had the Hospital option for both of mine.

I am glad you are liking your midwife and birth center.

I was so happy when I found a birth center who would take me (not many would take a vbac pregnancy). My birth at the birth center was amazing and I had such a "high" feeling for days afterward due to how well my birth went. It was huge contrast to how I felt after my hospital birth.
