My new creation, beef stroganoff lasagna was a huge hit. Here is what I did:
Cooked 1 lb ground beef and added in 1 can cream of mushroom soup. Added about 1/2 can of water. Stirred and thickened to a sauce using shake flour. Also, added in worchestershire and some ketchup to taste to make it taste like stroganoff sauce. Added about 1 tsp of garlic and 8 oz of sour cream. Then, used this just as I would tomato sauce in layering lasagna. But, used cheddar cheese. Topped with fried, dried onions (like the kind you put on green bean casserole).
It was a good switch and I love stroganoff. I warn you, this is not a light meal, but it worked out nicely with some green veggies and bread.
