View Full Version : i went off the hairsalon deep end.

Ok so much happened this morning i wanted to scream. but i knew i HAD to get out and get my hair trimmed. well i went off the deep end. ...i told her to just make it long enough to tuck behind my ears...but too short for a pony..im over the pony tails! ...

i went from this (which was taken last august...but i havent had it cut since then...so it was the exact SAME till today).

oh and NO i didn't highlight my hair...never have i have natural streaks.

it was about 4 inches off the front and upto 6 inches off the back...its about an inch and a half longer at the very front.....i haven't seen dh since thursday night (he went out on his 4 days at work) ...so i know he will be shocked....plus i just started using acne free and my face isn't as red as usual and 60% of my breakouts are gone. i think i better go find one of those nightgowns in the badmomma drawers :p

That looks great. I did something similar last month. I didn't get the length cut off but I had her put layers in it so it wasn't all one length. I was tempted, very tempted to have her whack it all off tho.

That looks GREAT!!! my stylist said the "thing" right now is to have it a touch longer in the front than the back. I go in for a fresh paint job and tune up on thursday. Haven't been since December, when I had mine chopped.

I think it looks fantastic! I am struggling with the mop on my head right now, trying to decide what to do to it. I like the short-to-mid length styles but I HATE mornings so I never get up early enough to do things with my hair. For me, ponies are the best. lol

I think it looks good! It will be nice for the spring and summer, a little bit cooler :) I've been contemplating cutting some of mine off, it is so long that it keeps getting stuck between the chair and my back when I sit down, I think a good 3 to 4 inch chop would do me good. You will have to let us know what your DH says, but I bet he will like it :D

I love it! I have been looking for a good haircut and my hair is about that length so I might just print out your pics and take them in to my salon!

well the boys and i went out last night. by time we got home dh was already home...he opened the door for us...and just stared at me as i walked by him...when i looked back he was still staring...i smiled and said "what?" and looked around. he said..i didnt know you wanted to cut your hair ..i like it..."...he even went so far this morning after he came home to drive me to work to say..wow you look good today. the FIRST compliment i have heard from him in a long while.

he keeps smiling at me and if i ask he says i do love it. i guess i do remember it being short when we got together 5 years ago..no wonder i didn't let you go that last time you visited :p.

OMG. i cannot believe you said that. like i said i havent had my hair that short in 5 years...and the last time i cut it like this that is ALL I HEARD from people everywhere i went! it was so insane that my ex-bf called me willow for the longest time.

thanks for bringing up the memories i plum forgot about that! :D

my girlfriend and i were just talking about this cut today...we called it the 'new rachel' cus it looked to cute on jen aniston...and it looks great on you too!

Oh, I think it looks great!

And it is not that big of a change, really. It will grow out before you know it. I've gone from hair below the shoulders to above my ears!

Something must be in the air! My 12 year old DD did the same thing just yesterday and I'm trying to find someone to color and cut mine.
