So I stopped GGaming for awhile, and just came back. The Atlanta paper won't deliver to my address cause i'm out in the middle of nowhere. SO I have to drive every Sunday to get my paper.

I find out that the Atlanta paper is going to stop delivery to the two counties I live in/frequent. No home deliveries, or business deliveries, including gas stations and grocery stores. So as of Jan 10th i'm not going to be able to find my paper that carries all of my coupons.

What do I do? Are the online ones the same? I think i'm going to have to cancel cause I can't afford to drive 45 minutes one way just to get a paper every week.

That's awful. When we were in GA for TG, I was telling DH's cousin's wife about GG. She told me she can't get a paper with coupons in her area. I told her that I heard AJC had a lot of qs and she said not where she is. They are in Rabun county. I think you knew where that is. Is is near you?

The only suggestion I would have is to use the clipper services for the qs you need/want.

I'd also write the paper and complain.

Bummer! I now that you can order coupons online. This may work better for you because then you can get specific coupons for only the items that you the most.

That bites. I would use the clipper services then

That's why I quit for a while, b/c AJC stopped delivering to the businesses down here (never would do home delivery) and the q's in the Macon paper just suck. I've started back and am using the clipping service that's on the GG website (The Coupon Master, I think). They don't have ALL the coupons (or at least I haven't been able to find them all) but they do have most of them and I only order what I want instead of trying to cut and use stuff that I wouldn't normally buy. I think it's easier.

That really stinks!! I have a feeling in the next few yrs paper sales will be done with. Most people get the news online now.

Our local paper recently started giving everyone a paper on Sat with ads on it to buy the paper. They are clearly struggling and trying to drum up business.

When we were in Tampa we saw people selling papers on the streets!! I've never seen that....seemed very desperate to me.

You are absolutely right, and it's already beginning to happen. Last week Detroit newspapers announced they would reduce home delivery to 3 days a week. If you want the paper other days, you have to go to a store to pick it up a smaller version or pay $12/month to read online.

This world just needs to freakin slow the heck down...what "old" person is going to read the paper online! Thats crazy talk!!!! I guess I am lucky that we live it a big enough city to where they will (hopefully) always have the paper.

GM2G...do you know anyone that lives where the paper w/coupons is? Maybe you could convince them to mail you the adds???? Just a thought...

Sinclair we think alike. Maybe one of our fellow GGers thats in your area could pick up and extra copy and mail it to you. Then you could just pay them back or pay in advance each month. I'm sure there is someone in your area that would be willing to do that.

Actually Fostermom offered to do that...THank You!!!

But It's just so much of a hassell! I'm considering just driving the 30-45 minutes to get the paper....that's assuming the gas station on the county line(in the county still getting it) will have it.

I'm just so bummed cause I went to CVS and got $46 of stuff for only $6
