In DIRE HELP!! On Digital Camera Kodak EasyShare C633 Bundle

Ok ladies and gents! I'm in Dire need of help. I got this early as a Christmas gift from D-Father. Wanting to use it for Christmas Eve but have a question about the batteries for the camera.

The batteries that came with the camera are Alkaline non rechargeable. So that means when I put my camera on the printer dock it came with it won't charge. So I went and bought NI-MH Energizer batteries that are rechargeable but the lights on the printer dock are still not lighting up when I put the camera on it to show that it's charging.

So my question is does anyone have this same camera that could tell me what I'm doing wrong. Do I need the Kodak Battery Pack that are attached together or am I ok with using the ones that aren't together? Do I need to only use Kodak brand in this thing as far as batteries.

Ok, I know absolutely nothing about the printer dock.... is it supposed to charge the batteries in the camera??

With my digital camera, I have a few sets of rechargeable batteries and I bought a small plug-in recharger. I just charge the batteries as needed in the recharger and the camera has to have functional batteries and be turned on to download the pics off of it.

That bundle comes with Printer Doc Series 3 printer. On the Kodak sight it says under specs:

Battery charging in-camera charging in less than 3.5 hours
Power options 24V AC adapter
Battery recharging compatibility Ni-MH battery pack (included) and Li-Ion battery (included with select KODAK EASYSHARE Digital Cameras)

Under the FAQ's for that printer:

Q. Why are the Battery Charging lights all off?

A.
- The camera is not properly seated on the connector. Reseat the camera on the printer dock.
- An unrecognized battery type is installed. Install a Kodak EasyShare Ni-MH rechargeable battery pack or Kodak Li-Ion rechargeable battery.
- No battery is installed. Install a Kodak EasyShare Ni-MH rechargeable battery pack or Kodak Li-Ion rechargeable battery.
